Hillary Clinton
Related: About this forumGD:P has improved a lot for me
since I started putting the worst posters on Ignore.
Eventually, I'll get it filtered back to what it used to be.

(31,170 posts)Some people are just soooooooo nasty that I really have no interest in hearing what they have to say, ever.
I "get" overzealous posters....after every primary we have people showing up posting mea culpas about how over the line they went, so I tend to overlook a lot. Some though...I just don't need that in my life.

(42,862 posts)... there are only a dozen or so posts. All the rest are HIDDEN!
Often I'll see a post with a subject that's friendly to Hillary, and it will have over 50 replies. When I click to view the entire post, I can only see two or three replies ... all the rest are HIDDEN!
So, the ignore feature does make DU more bearable ... but it's also strange to click busy threads that have just a few visible replies.
This will all be over very soon.

(34,648 posts)My list had the worst ones on it. Long list. I bet after the primary, those people have left.

(71,265 posts)I am tired of engaging these individuals and their self righteous attitude. I think 8 is enough for now.

(19,473 posts)There would be informational posts. I'm hoping Ignore will get it back to being that way, even before Bernie admits defeat.

(10,476 posts)as Sanders' supporters nonsense needs to be countered and refuted, not left to stand unchallenged. I have a lone person on my list atm, and it took them a lot to get there.

(19,473 posts)Or met with even more nonsense and greater repetition.

(10,476 posts)It feels like a lot of these people have very little experience with hearing points of of view that are only slightly different than their own. I mean, it's easy to refute the ignorant racism of a Trump or Cruz, but when we all disagree one something like fracking or banking, they explode to the same level of ballistic, vehement opposition.
It's like they have a car with no gear between "Drive" and Park".
