KC Mayor Sly James on With All Due Respect on MSNBC

He's a Clinton supporter and Super Delegate. So calm, cool, and articulate in expressing his support for Hillary. When he was asked about being a SD and what it means, he said his support for Hillary was not based on any constituency votes, it was based on his belief that she is the best person to be president.

I'd never heard of him before and he is impressive.

1. There are a LOT of good and impressive Dems out there that

people never hear about on the national scene. When we had our kick-off for Hillary last weekend, I was actually very impressed with ALL of the politicians who were there.

They were friendly, collegial, open to discussion, down-to-earth, really knew their stuff and very much supportive of Hillary. Every single one of them - even to the chair of the local county council - was head and shoulders above every single one of the Republican Presidential candidates. Of course, that is still a pretty low bar.

We have high standards for our elected officials in liberal suburban MD and we have some great - and responsive - Dem politicians.
