Venezuela Elections Verification: No Errors Found In Vote Audit So Far

CARACAS, May 7 (BERNAMA-NNN-AVN) -- No errors have been found at the extended audit over 46 percent of the April 14 presidential election outcome, said technician of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Jose Villarroel, who attended the verification.

The audit is done in the presence of 60 auditors of the National Electoral Council (CNE), 21 foreign auditors, 15 PSUV technicians, six of NUVIPA party, which backed former presidential candidate Eusebio Mendez, and Labor Power, which nominated former candidate Reina Sequera.

Citizens' verification audit is carried out on 54 percent of the ballot the same election day.

It is extended to the remaining 46 percent, at the request of rightist election campaign group, which subsequently declined to take part on the event alleging that it would not match their demands.

According to Villarroel, there were no errors in the first 150 ballot boxes verified on Monday morning. "No paper receipt has been missing," he said to AVN.

... just happened like everything expected, since the beginning. Maduro winning, Capriles whining, far right starting destabilization efforts, the right not recognizing their defeat.

That is now confirmed by an audit on 100% of the votes that did not find any errors. If this doesn't ring a bell for those who are still supporting Capriles' insanity, nothing will.

they, themselves, and ONLY they, themselves can be trusted to do another recount, and the elected government can't be anywhere around while they do it! Just leave the recount to the Capriles tormentors of the poor.

Or they can do it, with observers from Colombia, Panama, Guatemala, Chile, and selected U.S. Republican Congressmen, as well.

Nice and "clean," that'll fix things.

In the meantime, it's great the total recount has been concluded.

Thank you.
