In a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Brazil Ali Qanezadeh on Thursday, a five-member group from the Brazilian parliament called for expansion of parliamentary cooperation between the two friendly nations.

The Brazilian legislators also voiced readiness to broaden cooperation with Iran in the areas of mutual interests.

Iran's achievements in the fields of economy, science, technology, aviation and nanotechnology were also discussed during the meeting.

In a meeting with Brazilian businessmen, industrialists and managers of the agricultural sector in Brasilia in August, Qanezadeh underscored the existing investment opportunities in Iran, and called for strengthening mutual cooperation between two friendly countries in all economic arenas.
