The presidential candidate announced he will not be asking for any loans from the IMF during his government.

Former Uruguayan president and now Senator Jose Mujica visited Argentina on Wednesday where he met with presidential candidate Daniel Scioli.

The senator and the candidate inaugurated an agrarian school in the province of Buenos Aires.

Mujica urged the students to defend Latin American integration.

“The history of my country taught me that when Argentina does well, we all do well in Rio de la Plata...as long as I have some breath left, I will wave the flag of Latin American integration,” the former president added.
