Brazilian President Leaves Colombia with Several Agreements Signed

Bogota, Oct 10 (Prensa Latina) With several government commitments sealed in various areas of the economy, Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff, held a two-day official visit to Colombia, characterized by a broad dialogue and manifested understanding.
During her stay in this capital, accompanied by a high level delegation of the government and a group of businessmen, the president witnessed, with President Juan Manuel Santos at Casa de Nariño, the signing of seven agreements in different important areas concerning the binational collaboration.

The commitments were signed in the areas of trade and investment, agriculture, education, science and innovation, environment, safety and benefit programs for the inhabitants of the common border, which has an area of 1,645 kilometers.

Within the bilateral exchange were addressed the ties in the oil, banking, construction industries and steel sectors, as well as the acquisition by Bogota of cars assembled in Brazil. As for Colombian investments in the South American giant, the energy sector stands out.
