Dismissal of lawsuit by locals infected with STDs by US scientists in the 1940s to be contested.

Guatemalan victims of medical experiments conducted by American researchers have said they will appeal against a recent decision to dismiss their lawsuit.
More than 1,300 people were infected with sexually transmitted diseases in the 1940s without their knowledge.
Al Jazeera’s David Mercer reports from Guatemala.
