US President Barack Obama to Visit Greece, Germany and Peru

United States President Barack Obama will travel to Greece, Germany and Peru next month on what will likely be his final overseas trip as president, the White House announced on Tuesday, the Hill reports.
The first leg of the trip, beginning a week after the presidential election, will be a farewell tour of Europe.
Obama is scheduled to meet with the Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras and the President Prokopis Pavlopoulos on Nov. 15 to discuss the nation’s rocky economic recovery. The president also plans to thank Greece for taking in refugees and migrants fleeing the Middle East.
In Germany, Obama will meet with one of his closest partners, Chancellor Angela Merkel, for perhaps the final time as president. The two will discuss ongoing conflicts in Ukraine and Syria and the fight against the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria.

The president will attend the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation leader’s summit in Peru from Nov. 18 to 20.
