Cuban and US Doctors Interested in Strengthening Collaboration
Havana, Nov 16 (Prensa Latina) The president of the International Board of Medicine and Surgery (IBMS), David Kalin, said that American physicians and dentists are interested in strengthen collaboration ties with Cuba.
During the first day of IBMS Dialogue, which is being held in the National Hotel of Cuba, Kalin praised the advances of Cuban medicine, specifically in pharmacology, surgery and stomatology.
Pedro Luis Veliz, director of Cuba's National Council of Scientific Societies, said that the exchange would help American doctors to get a closer look at the Cuban health system and they would see why it is an example for the world.
The meeting will conclude on November 19th and specialists from both countries will discuss treatments and technology.
