Argentina: Bullying Phenomenon Increases

Argentina: Bullying Phenomenon Increases

Buenos Aires, Dec 4 (Prensa Latina) The cases of school harassment or ''bullying'' increased in Argentina this year by 33 percent, especially in social networks.

Non-governmental organization 'Bullying without Borders' said many of these cases are very aggressive, and have led some of the victims to take their own lives.

The organization stated that in 2013, 822 cases were denounced, and this phenomenon has been on the increase: 1, 192 in 2014, 1, 631 in 2015, and this year, goes already for 2,170.

. . .

According to official figures, seven of every 10 children in Latin America are victims of this siege that begins sometimes with a simple booing, and ends in not little occasions with a fatal ending.
