Zombies took Paraguay capital Streets in protest

Asunción, Feb 4 (Prensa Latina) Several hundred people dressed as zombies took to the streets of Asunción''s Micro-center against the campaign of the colorado ruling party in favor of presidential re-election, a singular protest with wide repercussion today.

The fraction related to President Horacio Cartes in the National Republican-Colorado Party National Association (ANR-PC) made a massive collection of signatures to request approval of his project, via constitutional amendment.

But in the verification carried out by the electoral court, multiple irregularities were detected in the submitted files, one of them very frequent, the signatures of deceased among innumerable falsified ones.

Hence the allegory used by those living dead mobilized on Friday night, in rejection of the maneuver of that wing of the ANR-PC that generated controversy to be considered unconstitutional by its detractors.
