Brazil Tracks Down Suspects Linked to President Michel Temer

Brasilia, Feb 23 (Prensa Latina) Rio de Janeiro Police is increasingly tracking down Jorge Luz, closely related to Brazilian President Michel Temer, and his son Bruno on suspicion of bribing public officials, the national media reported.

Jorge Luz (father) was one of the main and oldest financial operators of the Brazilian Democratic Movement Party (PMDB), and is accused along with his son of Petrobras corruption scandal.

Police officers are aiming to arrest them for corruption, money laundering and foreign exchange evasion, suspected of professionally and repeatedly buying off Petrobras International Management, according to Parana´s Attorney General.

Both suspects used some accounts in Switzerland and the Bahamas to transfer those bribes, according to a confession of one of Petrobras' ex-executives arrested in Curitiba, as part of the investigation known as 'Lava Jato'.
