The executive director of the Unitary Federation of Oil Workers of Venezuela (FUTPV), Eudis Girot, told Noticiero Digital that "everyone is upset and disappointed. This latest announcement has caused great indignation in the oil sector. The workers consider it a mockery, a scam."

In the new agreement, an increase in salary was established, which went from Bs 20 thousand to Bs 59 thousand daily, that is, the adjustment was only Bs 39 thousand bolivars. "With that you can not buy anything. That new salary in PDVSA does not even reach two eggs. The worst thing is that this increase will continue for the next two years. In total, we increased 180%, but if you take the account of what we will earn per month, you will see that it is still a miserable salary, of hunger," Girot added.

On the food bonus, he was also outraged, as he indicated that he did not suffer any adjustment. Faced with this situation, Girot announced that they will collect signatures to disregard the agreements of this new collective agreement, which was announced by the president of FUTPV, Wills Rangel.

The rubrics will be consigned in Caracas to the Ministry of Labor, the Prosecutor's Office, the Comptroller's Office, the Ombudsman's Office and the PDVSA board of directors. "Wills Rangel must be dismissed from the leadership of PDVSA and the presidency of FUTPV, because he used those charges to fill privileges.
