March 3, 2019.- In Gaceta Extaordinaria No. 6,430 dated February 27, 2019, the decree of the presidency of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela No. 3,776 was published, whereby 116 members and military professionals are degraded and expelled. of the Bolivarian National Armed Force.

Article 1. Degrade and Expel For the Offenses of Desertion and Treason to the Nation to the military professional citizens that are indicated below.

For being unworthy of belonging to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and in defense of the validity and full effectiveness of the Constitution of the Republic; for having broken with his behavior the duties, values, principles and the decorum of the profession that represent the Military Institution; This action is understood as an exemplary measure that guarantees the efficient functioning, useful employment and morality of the Bolivarian National Armed Forces and not as a penalty that in any case must be the consequence of a criminal process.

Article 2 The decision contained in this Decree necessarily implies the loss of the degree and national decorations; without prejudice to the actions and consequences arising from the corresponding process known to the competent authorities.

Article 3. The measure taken in this Decree recognizes and respects the rights acquired in matters of social security, in accordance with the current legal system.

Article 4 The Minister of Popular Power for Defense is in charge of the execution of this Decree.

Article 5 The present decree will become effective as of its publication in the Official Gazette of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela.
