Venezuela: Guaidó under investigation for 'sabotage' of power grid

Venezuelas chief prosecutor has asked the countrys supreme court to open an investigation into opposition leader Juan Guaidó for alleged involvement in the sabotage of the countrys power grid.
Tarek Saab announced the inquiry on Tuesday, a day after the embattled president, Nicolás Maduro, accused Donald Trump of masterminding a demonic plot with the countrys opposition to force him from power.
Guaidó who most western governments now recognize as Venezuelas legitimate interim leader is already under investigation for allegedly fomenting violence, but authorities have not tried to detain him since he violated a travel ban and then returned home from a tour of Latin American countries.
Saab said the case against Guaidó also involves messages allegedly inciting people to robbery and looting during the crippling blackout which began on Thursday.

(25,111 posts)1. Something smells . . .
Once the governor of my fine state. Maduro could tell him to indict a ham sandwich and he'd ask if the lettuce and tomato should be included.
Check out the tat on his neck. He's got another on his right hand. Who knows where else on that steroid-juiced body of his. Creepy dude.

Caracas residents are drinking out of it because there is no running water.
Or, it could be the bathing in the sewers... because there is no running water

Translation: THIS IS VENEZUELA TODAY! The future of the country is treated like a waste. What a pain to see this!
Know that this isn't just because of the recent blackout. Entire areas of the country has no running water for some time. In Caracas, the lack of routine maintenance on various aqueducts and pump stations from the Tuy system has resulted in disaster. And every time a pipe bursts or a 20 year old pump goes to shit, its the same excuse. SABOTAGE.
