Brazil worker who protected indigenous tribes killed in Amazon

Police in Brazil are investigating the murder of an official who had worked to protect indigenous people from farmers and loggers attempting to seize land.

Maxciel Pereira dos Santos was reportedly shot twice in the head in the city of Tabatinga, near Brazil's borders with Colombia and Peru.

Union officials said Mr Santos was shot in front of members of his family.

The killing comes amid international outrage over the rate of destruction of the Amazon rainforest in Brazil.

everywhere.

Will evil people have complete control until the world ends? Sure as hell looks that way.

Hope for salvation for indigenous, poor people, find there will someday be protectors against the congenitally vicious monsters.

Anytime any one of them gets a kick in the pants, or an actual duplicate of the suffering they inflict upon innocent people, an angel gets his/her wings.

Racists in this country care even less about what happens to people of color, and we all know it. They are born to hate and to infest the world.

This protector of innocent human beings was shot in the head twice, in front of his children.

May he rest in peace.
