Brazilian community to demonstrate at The Spire over government's handling of Covid crisis

The event is being organised by the Brazilian Left Front (BLF) in solidarity with those back home

The Brazilian community in Ireland is to hold a demonstration at The Spire in Dublin this afternoon to voice their frustration against Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro's government and its handling of Covid-19.

The event is being organised by the Brazilian Left Front (BLF), and since June, Galway, Cork and Dublin registered demonstrations with many Brazilians and supporters occupying the streets to show their support for those back home.

Over five hundred cities all over the world registered some action and rallies demanding the impeachment.

On the 3rd of July, the Spire of Dublin was also occupied by Brazilians mobilised against the "necropolitics and hunger" that they claim their home country is experiencing.
