http://el-nacional.com/politica/Alto-Mando-Politico-Militar-Miraflores_0_148186742.htmlMaduro says there are plans to destabilize the country by the US and enemies of the government (the opposition).
He says without a doubt that Chavez was inoculated with the disease. He says the government is going to investigate the attack.
He also is throwing out a US embassy official, the Air Force attache, for conspiring with the military.
(English language reports available also but CNN says Maduro said Chavez was poisoned.)

(2,035 posts)These people are ridiculous. And yet there are DUers here who will try to defend them.
Face it, Chávez is NOT coming back, and his lackeys are doing everything they can to stay in power. They don't care at all about Chávez's revolution, they only care about maintaining their political immunity and staying in charge of the country, because they know that the moment they're not in that position anymore, they'll be apprehended and sentenced for God knows how long, maybe worse.

(6,837 posts)I have little confidence in the government under Hugo and think it will be worse under his lackeys since they don't know what to do and add to that there will likely be an internal power struggle. Cuba, of course, will be heavily involved since they are desperate to continue receiving oil subsidies.
I foresee more social unrest in a country that is already the most violent on the continent.
