Great Britain’s service sector unexpectedly shrank in December, bringing the prospect of a “triple dip” in the UK closer to reality.

It's long been known that forcing the disaster downward always kills the economy. It's only a last ditch strategy by the wealthy few to hang on to what they've stolen during the last "boom."

I put that in quotes because the people on the bottom never saw a boom economy, it's always been a struggle there.

Completely removing the few pounds and pence of discretionary spending they had is bad enough; cutting into subsistence is going to cause the kind of riots that will finally force the politicians to wrest some of the ill gotten wealth from the wealthiest to quell unrest.

In the meantime, the economy will sputter and begin to die.
