Trump administration remains likely to significantly change regulations

WASHINGTONThe Labor Department will appeal a judges ruling that struck down an overtime-pay rule authored by the Obama administration, a move designed to preserve the Trump administrations authority to reshape the rule to its own liking.
By filing the appeal, the department is seeking to maintain Secretary Alexander Acostas ability to establish overtime regulations, a Labor Department official said Friday evening. The appeal shouldnt be viewed as the Trump administration endorsing the threshold set in regulations issued...
