1. BLS says (as of November) CPI is up 2.1% year over year

On paper, this means wages are doing better than inflation. I'm pretty sure most people would disagree.

US wage growth dropped below 3 per cent last month for the first time since July 2018 as the economy added fewer jobs than expected, according to a report released on Friday.
