They're not selected ahead of time, and I rarely have anything specific in mind when I go looking for one.

3. LOL -- Yes, it is!

I am as much a book hoarder as I am a reader. And much as I dislike the Amazon behemoth, Kindle has made a lot of old books available, affordable, and easy to carry in one's electronic pocket, so to speak.

4. My house is full of books too. There is a word for that: tsundoku

tsundoku -
It means buying books and letting them pile up unread. The word dates back to the very beginning of modern Japan, the Meiji era (1868-1912) and has its origins in a pun. Tsundoku, which literally means reading pile
