Douglas County corrections officer arrested on suspicion of stealing more than $170,000

Times were tough enough for Douglas County corrections officers before they discovered that more than $170,000 was missing from their unions treasury and that their treasurer was suspected of stealing it.
Sgt. Daniel Glazebrook faces three felony charges in connection with the money missing from the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge No. 8.
Its just very frustrating from our standpoint, said Dave Aldrich, president of the union.
He said the union is still fighting morale and mandatory overtime problems, and then to have so much money go missing, allegedly taken by one of its own members, just hurts all the members, all the officers, all the employees, really.
