HULL — A worker critically injured in a northwest Iowa construction accident is in a South Dakota hospital’s intensive care unit.
Sioux County deputies said that Raul Robles, 28, of Hawarden was installing new rafters on a building project in Hull on Friday when he fell about 23 feet onto a concrete floor from a platform.
Robles was taken by ambulance to a nearby rural hospital and later flown to Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, S.D., where he remained in intensive care Saturday.
