Tennessee Officials Need To Lay Off Volkswagen, Which Wants a Union

Officials from Volkswagen are in talks with the UAW about proceeding with the process of unionization in order to form a Works Council that would negotiate and deal with workplace issues, as is done in all of Volkswagen's other production facilities.

But Tennessee politicians are upset, saying that a move towards unionizing the facility could hurt the state and region's attempts to attract car manufacturers to the region.
