a Labor Day post in the Lounge just reminded me of another union leader -

Mike Quill, a founder of the Transport Workers Union:

I recall when Quill stated at the time of the 1966 transit strike in NYC: "The judge can drop dead in his black robes!" My mother was shocked.

(I'm not a union member. I wish I were.)
