Joel Klein Pic Helps Teacher Beat "Improper Touching" Rap

She ruled that the tickling and kissing were inappropriate, but not sexual. Ruing the lack of clear standards on what school employees could and could not do, she rejected the city’s attempt to fire Mr. Dalton and instead fined him $2,000.>>>

This system is friggin' exhausting. This guy would likely have been professionally ruined ... including loss of pension, etc.... had it not been for Chancellor Klein's failure to appreciate appropriate boundaries.
My oh my. I propose that Klein volunteer to pay the guy's fine.
Naturally, ( read on ) teacher's real crime seems to have been that the principal disliked him. What a shock.
And Obama was said to have had Joel in mind for Ed Sec before he decided on Duncan. Yikes. Someone's judgement is suspect here. I'm not completely sure whose.
