I really resent that we have to spend so much time fighting trump. All this wasted time, anxiety and energy. Once he's been replaced by a competent president, I want to turn my focus and energy much more to global warming and environmental issues. It's hard to think of anything more important.

Earth Observation System - Distributed Information System (now known as Earth Observing System Data and Information System)

See how we worked System into the acronym TWICE!!! LOL

(former lead architect NASA's EOSDIS)

and yes, the planet is burning up... one of the positive feedback loops is fully engaged - entire forests around the globe are releasing even more giga tonnes of carbon into the atmosphere due directly to climate change creating new conditions

other positive feedback loops that will accelerate climate change... melting permafrost.
