Commuting preferences. Interesting!

"Researchers Prasanna Humagain and Patrick Singleton of Utah State University ask “If you could snap your fingers or blink your eyes and instantaneously teleport yourself to the desired destination, would you do so?” as an alternative to other more conventional modes of transportation."

Then, it depends on where and how much time I have. I think it sad we don't have more efficient and affordable travel by train, frankly. I've always thought that would be a great way to travel, given the time. Certainly better than being trapped in a crowded, bad air-quality, and uncomfortable plane with other stressed and unhappy people.

3 bicycles and a lot of bus passengers are also using bicycles. I think that's a great combo!

I blame oil and auto industry lobbyists for all but decimating passenger travel by train and buying off legislators. The GOP, in particular, has been anti-rail for decades and trying to kill Amtrak, in particular. I used to commute by train and it was great. It was an opportunity to relax, read, work, meditate, or whatever--instead of dealing with traffic. But that doesn't line the right pockets, apparently.
