House, Big Oil join forces to introduce a resolution opposing a tax on carbon


John Shimkus, R-IL believes global warming is part of God's plan. He's not sure why.

"COMING WEDNESDAY: The oil industry, conservative groups and House GOP lawmakers will ramp up opposition to proposals that would strip industry tax breaks and impose taxes on industrial carbon emissions.

The conservative House Republican Study Committee and a number of outside groups will continue a trend: publicly slamming carbon tax proposals that already lack political traction.
