Ice Forecasts?

We're over a month into the freeze-up and I haven't seen any forecasts for how the ice will expand this year. Currently the Arctic is sitting 556 thousand sq km below average for this date. Will we make it above average, to the average, or below average this year? For the end of September, PIOMAS showed volume anomaly 6700 km3 below average, better than the past 2 years, but still pretty lousy.
