Buffalo running from Yellowstone a feared sign of pending eruption

Buffalo running from Yellowstone a feared sign of pending eruption

By Joe Kelley
There has been an increase in seismic activity in recent weeks with a massive earthquake in Chile and smaller quakes in the Los Angeles area.

Now, there's growing concern of volcanic activity as America's iconic Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming.
Videos have been showing up on YouTube and across the web showing animals seemingly fleeing the park, leading to speculation that the animals are using their animal instincts to flee the park ahead of a possible volcanic eruption.

On March 30, Yellowstone was struck by the most powerful earthquake it has experienced since 1980 – a 4.8 magnitude quake that did no damage, but that some believe could be connected to the various animals’ movements.

According to Epoch Times, multiple videos of such incidents have been posted online recently, one of which shows a herd of buffalo allegedly leaving the park and “running for their lives.” Although people behind the discussion acknowledge there’s no way to predict when the park’s massive volcano could erupt, they believe the reaction of the Yellowstone’s animals could signal some kind of alert.

is that it is not uncommon to see animals walking near or even on the roads. One of the things you are cautioned about when you visit Yellowstone. And yet, news outlets seem to have collectively lost I.Q. points and common sense to have not figured that one out.

And once again we hear from the journalistic "OMG, the sky is falling portion of our population" FOX news out of St.Louis covered it as well.

For those who haven't the slightest clue:

BISON LEAVE THE PARK EVERY SPRING. I know, it totally stultifies those who have no knowledge of what wildlife do. But you might have known this if you had been paying attention to where over $3 million of your taxayer bucks go every year...

http://www.buffalofieldcampaign.org/

a state agency is managing wildlife on federally administered lands using our money, been going on for years to subsidize cattle ranching in a place where it is financially stupid to raise cattle... except for all the subsidies they get from us.

And then there's the earthquake...

Just trying to put some reality to this topic.

before such an event but I haven't read of any long term reactions. There have been updated studies that Yellowstone's underground "bubble" is bigger than originally thought but it's no where near ready to erupt. It will happen though but probably in a few thousand years.
