Le premier service du soir « réalisé à 100% en automatique » a eu lieu hier. Lancé depuis plus de deux ans, le gigantesque chantier d’automatisation de la ligne 1 du métro vient d’entrer dans une nouvelle phase. Les travaux (câblage des quais, installation de portes palières, construction d’un poste de commande centralisé) doivent aboutir au remplacement de toutes les rames avec machinistes par des trains pilotés à distance, d’ici à la fin de l’année et à la réduction des temps de passage entre les rames.
