In his public apology broadcast in South Korea, Lee Man- hui, the founder of the secretive religious cult, Sincheonji, seemed to be placing the blame on "Case 31" the so called super spreader. His phrasing was intended to characterize the storm of public criticism against him and his organization as a result of undeserved bias. Reporters noticed he was wearing a solid gold wrist watch he had received from the impeached former president Park Geun-hye now in prison for corruption and abuse of power. Such a political symbol is unlikely to improve public inclination toward the 84 year old religious leader.

(14,961 posts)1. I am highly impressed with every moved South Korea makes in
relation to CV. The leaders of the church were telling followers the disease was, wait for it....a hoax and nothing to worry about.

When our loved one dies from this virus?
My neighbor will probobally file charges against state and federal officials if/when his wife dies from the virus. He is really upset about it spreading without control here in the US. His wife is very ill and the virus may get her. He's already changed his party because of it.
