North Korean leader Kim Jong-un has called on the military to carry out relief work in areas recently hit by heavy rains, state media report.
More than 1,000 homes were damaged and about 5,000 people evacuated after the ensuing flooding, state television reported earlier this week.

(10,494 posts)1. Right now in North Korea people are dying of starvation in numbers comparable to the Holocaust.
Their leader requires them to stay at home and starve to prevent COVID. China has a lot to answer for!

With N Koreas nukes we cannot be heavy handed with them. Also, China has made it clear they will defend N Korea so they have to be the ones for change. We have to be the ones to pressure that change.
