UNRWA: 3,500 Palestinian children stranded in Yarmouk

"There are some 3,500 children stranded in the camp, while the sick and the elderly continue to die from lack of medical care," UNRWA spokesman Sami Mshasha said during a Sunday press conference in the West Bank city of Ramallah.

Mshasha said that some 90 percent of Yarmouk's 180,000 Palestinian residents have fled the camp - which continues to see violent clashes between Daesh militants and Aknaf Beit al-Maqdis militant group for over a month.

Moreover, Syria's Bashar al-Assad regime forces routinely drop barrel bombs on the beleaguered camp, according to the UNRWA.

"The situation in Yarmouk camp is indescribably tragic," Mshasha said.

"The UNRWA has repeatedly urged the Syrian regime to stop striking the camp indiscriminately with highly-destructive barrel bombs which results in civilian casualties as well as massive destruction."

Though I would not be surprised if most of what we hear form those defenders of the Palestinians is crickets.

with anyone for their future rights, and then to add insult to injury that countries boosters will tell you with barely a smirk that the leader of these people said they were better off dead than giving up their rights but upon investigation one will find it is hearsay or someone said he said to someone else and the source of this varies

I am thinking you do, but I would be happy to be wrong.

I mentioned that a nameless party refused to allow Palestinian refugees from Yarmouk refuge unless certain conditions regarding the refugees future freedom of movement were met, are you saying that it was Israel that did this?
