http://www.maannews.com/Content.aspx?id=767802NABLUS (Ma'an) -- The chief of police in the Nablus district and his three-year-old daughter were injured after being shot by Israeli forces with rubber-coated bullets on Friday during a raid in the village of Kafr Qaddum in Qalqiliya.
A Fatah leader in Kafr Qaddum, Murad Ishteiwi, told Ma'an that Israeli forces directly shot at three-year-old Maram Abed al-Latif al-Qaddumi, injuring her with a rubber-coated steel bullet in the head while she was standing on a balcony in her home.
Isheiwi added that when her father, Colonel Abd al-Latif al-Qaddumi, attempted to aid her and take her to the hospital in his car, Israeli forces opened fire, injuring him in the head.
They were both taken to the Rafidia Governmental Hospital in Nablus where their injuries were reported as moderate. Both are currently in a stable condition.
And now it will be open season on Palestinian children thanks to Bibi Netanbooboo and right wing zionism gone insane.
If this is Israeli zionism then I am against it.
How can you aim and shoot at an innocent child???!!!

How can somebody do that to a child??

(68,868 posts)why she doesn't care for the people of Israel when she grows up, assuming the IDF doesn't kill her first.

(58,724 posts)RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- Palestinian activists on Monday called for the Palestinian Authority to dismiss the head of police in Ramallah after two days of protests in the city were forcefully dispersed.
The Palestinians for Dignity group also called for the dismissal of the director of the police headquarters in the city.
The police's treatment of journalists -- including one Palestinian reporter who says he was beaten by forces while in custody at the headquarters -- has been criticized by media freedom groups.
Eyewitnesses told the Palestinian Center for Human Rights that the Ramallah police chief, al-Bireh Colonel Abdul Latif Qaddoumi and his assistant, Mohammed Abu Bakr, all participated in the use of force against the demonstrators.

(12,606 posts)and all you can do is post a story from over two months ago?
I usually expect the old, lazy, indolent posts from you, with the usual tired deflections in order to cheapen debate, but your present reply shows how callous and indifferent you are to the suffering of others...especially Palestinians.
Pretty fucking disgusting, IMHO, ober.

(58,724 posts)It seems odd that you very much distrust anything coming from Israeli spokespeople but automatically assume this single Palestinian's account of what happened is completely true with no corroboration.
I would hope that the reporters for this story will continue to try to gather more information about what happened, including a statement from the Israeli in question. If it turns out that this little girl was deliberately targeted then the person who did so ought to face severe consequences.
That being said, I was curious to know who the adult was so I thought it would be helpful to provide some information about him.
It seems that he has been cited by Palestinian human rights organizations in the past for opening fire on Palestinian protestors which is ironic under the circumstances.
