4. I would not call many of these arguments "legitimate"

A better description would be "not antisemitic per se." As the author himself states, many of the arguments he calls legitimate are really repugnant canards. I would add that many of them are intellectually dishonest. They aren't antisemitic, but that doesn't make them legiitmate arguments.
