Israeli forces stop Hamdallah again

http://www.maannews.net/eng/ViewDetails.aspx?ID=665221

Israeli forces for the second time Tuesday stopped the convoy of interim Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah as it was traveling in the occupied West Bank.
---
Bseiso said that Israeli forces intentionally impede the movement of the prime minister as part of the series on violations against Palestinians.

Israeli forces and settlers
had stopped Hamdallah earlier on Tuesday at a checkpoint near the town of Turmusayya north of Ramallah.
---
He highlighted that Israeli soldiers escorted the settlers, who he said had planned to assault him.

Hey DUer's all that military aid that the USA gives to Israel (your tax dollars--40 billion in the coming ten years) goes to this kind of horse shit.

• Intimidation
• Ethnic Cleasing
• Destruction of Palestinian farms, orchards and liestock
• Apartheid
• >>>Murder<<<

How does that sit with you...as participants in a Democracy that bankrolls apartheid?

Israeli police say they briefly pulled over the Palestinian prime minister's convoy for reckless driving in the West Bank, sparking a diplomatic spat.

While the Israelis say they quickly allowed the convoy to pass on Tuesday, the Palestinians say the incident was a violation of their rights.

Police spokesman Micky Rosenfeld said Rami Hamdallah's car and another vehicle were stopped for speeding and "overtaking every vehicle in a dangerous way".

Rosenfeld added that after identifying Hamdallah, police immediately allowed the cars to continue on. However, the two drivers face police questioning.

I hope the IDF made sure that his vehicle was parked correctly at his destination. And that the settlers slashed his tyres if it wasnt.
