Related: About this forumState Department stumbles: If not apartheid, then what?
http://972mag.com/state-department-stumbles-if-not-apartheid-then-what/90258/At the daily State Department press briefing on Tuesday, AP diplomatic correspondent Matt Lee pressed spokesperson Jen Psaki on the lack of clarity. If in retrospect, Kerry would have used a word other than apartheid, Lee asked over and over, what word would the secretary have used. There was, of course, no clear or politically acceptable answer.
Basically, Psaki refuses to say that Kerry regretted using the word apartheid, and instead insists that the to-do surrounded the way the secretarys words were interpreted by others.
Kerry, in his statement, added: I do not believe, nor have I ever stated, publicly or privately, that Israel is an apartheid state or that it intends to become one. (My emphasis.)
In other words, Kerry says he doesnt believe that Israel is an apartheid state right now, nor does he believe it intends to become one. He does not, however, retract his assertion that Israel will become an unintentional or de facto apartheid state an assertion that has also been made by a growing list of Israeli decision-makers.

Which, as we all know by now, Israel considers tpart of Israel - thus the settlements. In the West bank, Arabs live under very different laws from Jews. Two men - neighbors - can commit the same crime, and face wildly different punishments on basis of their race or religion.
he's trying, but the poor man has his cock caught in the rat trap of American-Israel relations... which serves to illustrate that there is no comparative American-Palestinian relations.
Funny that we can fawn over Taiwan, which is about as legitimate as Bundyland Ranch out in nevada, but we act as if hte Palestinians owe us for giving them the time of day.

White House phone lines busy night and day. For such a little country the USA certainly goes through contortions to keep Israel placated while they screw the Palestinians into the earth.
The USA really should just cut the cord.
Also, I'm not so sure we fawn over Taiwan any longer. Perhaps I am wrong, but China is our favorite loan shark. That's what happens when you gladly give away the shop for short term profit.

But then most features of Zionist reality appear to be off-kilter in general
