Abbas to UN: Investigate crimes of settlers

Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas met with UN Middle East envoy Robert Serry and demanded that the United Nations investigate the “murder of Mohammed Abu Khdeir, the attack on his cousin, the killing of 16 Palestinians in the past two weeks and the continued abduction attempts.”
According to Abbas, “there has been a 41% increase in terrorist acts committed by settlers since the beginning of the year and the Israeli government refuses to bring them to justice.”
