"The Palestinian group Hamas had no role in a rocket attack on Israel from Lebanon and had nothing to do with a statement in the name of its armed wing that claimed responsibility for the attack late on Saturday, Hamas officials in Lebanon said.

Three rockets fired from Lebanon hit open areas near Nahariya in northern Israel on Saturday evening. Israel responded with artillery fire. There were no casualties. The attack followed a similar rocket salvo from Lebanon on Friday.

The attacks from Lebanon coincided with an Israeli offensive on the Hamas-run Gaza Strip that Palestinian officials say has killed at least 160 people. Militants in Gaza have fired hundreds of rockets into Israel during the latest hostilities.

You have been one of the most vocal to tear down any justification for Palestinian actions and defend Israeli actions.

In case you haven't seen it, RT did a segment showing Palestinian teens using that same sling that David used against Goliath to show their opposition to the occupation.

I don't think that has anything to do with the topic of discussion. The problem I have with Israel is they are self delusional and paranoid in their hatred and subjugation of the Arabs who have lived there for centuries.
If they could only accept that the Arabs have as much right to live on the same lands, they might exist beyond the next generation.

Hamas has been more than happy to take "credit" for the attacks its launched so far, hasn't it? As you were thumping on about htey were happy to take claim for chucking a rocket at a nuclear power plant, right? So why would they deny this if they did it? If Hamas were behind it, they would be crowing about having Israel surrounded or besieged on all sides or some other pompous gobbledegook.

And you've already got a perfectly likely and capable bunch of goons north of Israel, who would b moethan happy to launch such an attack - Hezbollah. Yes?

My guess? Israel is tiptoeing around Hezbollah because their last slapfights with that bunch don't go real well, and Israel would rather just focus on Hamas in Gaza than try to open a second front.
