(25,699 posts)And let's bear in mind that "legal" and "right" are different things. For instance, Hamas warned Tel Aviv last night that they were going to be chucking lots of missiles at Tel Aviv. That immunizes them by the same degree that Israel's warnings do (though of course Hamas has lots of legal problems besides that, most importantly not actually being a recognized military force) It's most definitely wrong, however, just as it is wrong of Israel to leave it to leaflets to exonerate itself when it pounds civilian areas with high explosives.

Sorry, but evicting a town full of Arabs from their homes, so you can replace them with Jews? That's pretty fucking awful and it's exactly what israel has been doing in the Naqab. "Judaization" is Israel's own term for both this and the expansion of settlements in the west bank.
it's interestign that he's only credible to you when he says what you want to hear anyway.
And moral equivalence? Yeah, bombing and terrorizing civilians is wrong no matter who does it, regardless of what silly legal immunities are invented to allow it. I'm sorry you disagree.
