Identification of Participants in House Stenographer freak-out footage

Discussion about the weird circumstances of the Congressional stenographer who flipped out and shouted about Freemasonry was stopped in the media forum and those interested were referred to this group.

http://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1017&pid=155332

The discussion centered around the CSPAN tape which shows an interaction between a gray-haired man and the stenographer moments before she freaked out. I make no judgment on anything about this incident, but I am curious as to the identity of the gray-haired man on the floor of the House. Some observers thought that the interaction looked as if he "activated" her, as in The Manchurian Candidate.

Anyone know who the gray-haired man was shown in the tape?

Freemasons? According to History2, they have their footprints and fingerprints on every document, currency, and building in DC, including the presidency of George Washington and other notables...

When she says the Constitution of the US could not have been written by Freemasons, who does she think wrote it.

So many mysteries. No one can figure them out, except for maybe that gray-haired guy......

I think. It's a puzzle.

But I think she was saying this couldn't be One Nation Under God since the Freemasons did write the Constitution - that America has always been an ungodly nation. But that's such an odd message and not what you'd expect that I just don't know.

Just an odd episode all around.

Freemasons = ungodly unchristian. Constitution written by Freemasons. Therefore, America = ungodly unchristian.

This is puzzling. Doesn't jibe with the right-wing meme that America's founding fathers were all Christians or America is a Christian county.

I would like to know exactly what she said up on the podium, though. It's also weird how Fox dubbed her elevator speech over that video.

But the "activation" thing is not happening. Just as the narrator says he's not looking at her, he looks at her. She was just on her way up when someone said something to her. She nodded back and went on her way. I don't see anything unusual there.

And that he stood there texting and not even looking up at her or acting as if he didn't even hear her freak out. I, too, wonder who the heck he is. And what was he doing? Hope it is followed up on.

of people doing things they never thought about doing, especially the shootings, until they were driven by voices telling them to do them.

She may have been just a practice experiment he did just to amuse himself.

Reminds me something they called MKultra or whatever it was called where the military was doing mind control. Maybe military retirees are just adding some spice to their now sedate lifestyles...

I hate to think of on duty soldiers wasting their time on this kind of goofiness...

If you Google "Diane Reidy", the stenographer, there's lots of "creative speculation." One commenter focuses on the question of the grey-haired guy, with screenshots:

In long comments, four possibilities offered: Jim Moran (D-VA), Bob Costa (D-CA), John B Larson (D-CT) and Rob Bishop (R-UT). Bishop is in the Tea Party Caucus.

Also in those comments, someone offers Reidy's Facebook info:
