Everyone buying coffins in Puerto Rico?

I just talked to my aunt in Puerto Rico and she said everyone there is preparing for some major event and is buying coffins?? hahahaha, I know this is random but what are they preparing for?? The Google told me it was Comet Ison or a possible disease outbreak. Just wondering what other people are hearing.

1. FEMA: No basis for Internet rumors

From Sept 16th...

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) took the unusual step Monday of acknowledging and dismissing rumors circulating on social media that its preparing for some sort of unspecified disaster in Puerto Rico.

“FEMA is aware of speculation regarding the purchase of materials from around the United States, especially the Atlantic region,” the agency said in a statement. “There is no specific threat, catalyst or alert behind the purchase of additional supplies.”

FEMA said it buys and supplies all year long and warehouses them around the nation to remain prepared for emergencies.

“We have not made any extraordinary or unusual purchases,” said FEMA Caribbean Region Director Alejandro De La Campa. “Our daily message is for people to remain prepared and don’t be confused my unofficial statements and misinformation.

They were saying Jamaica's climate could flip into intolerable heat within 10 years. With stuff like that kicking around, people are bound to get nervous. Maybe FEMA's getting nervous too. Climate change is going to put a lot of people in motion. Probably in our direction.

and are being cremated. That Comet will just burn up the coffins anyway so I figure it's a waste of money they could use on booze.

Can't you talk some sense into them?
