Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth is offering credentialed building professionals a 9/11 Debate Challenge — an opportunity to publicly endorse the National Construction Safety Team Act Report 1A (NCSTAR 1A), titled Final Report on the Collapse of the World Trade Center Building 7 (WTC 7) and published in November 2008 by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

By issuing this 9/11 Debate Challenge, AE911Truth hopes to further educate fellow building professionals and the public about NIST's collapse initiation hypothesis and its assertion of subsequent structural failures. AE911Truth, as the "Challenger of NIST," trusts that such a debate with the "Champion of NIST," whoever that may be, will allow the evidence for the explosive controlled demolition of WTC 7 to be presented side by side with videos and other forensic evidence obtained from NIST's own files.

Why is AE911Truth issuing a 9/11 Debate Challenge? Ever since 2006, when AE911Truth founder Richard Gage, AIA, started a petition calling for a new, independent investigation of the WTC destruction on 9/11, detractors have claimed that the "small minority" of architects and engineers who have signed it — 2,216 to date, and counting — "do not represent" the prevailing sentiment of either the architectural or engineering professions.

In an effort to enlighten fellow professionals and other citizens, AE911Truth has come up with the following challenge:

A $1,000 challenge is hereby offered for a team comprised of a LICENSED high-rise architect and a LICENSED structural engineer and/or an active FULL professor of either of these disciplines to publicly defend the integrity of the NIST NCSTAR 1A final report on WTC 7, in a debate exchange format, with members of the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth team. The challenge will be won by the team that has convinced more than 50 percent of the audience to either agree or disagree with this statement: "The key questions raised by Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth have been adequately addressed by NIST, and a new investigation regarding the destruction of WTC 7 would continue to support NIST's conclusions that WTC 7 was destroyed by a fire-induced, gravity-only progressive collapse. Yes or no?"

7. De Blasio lashes out: 9/11 truth getting noticed thanks to Building 7 ballot initiative

New York Mayor Bill De Blasio has made it official: the effort to force the City of New York to investigate the destruction of Building 7 is having a significant effect on the profile of the 9/11 Truth Movement.

The mayor recently lashed out at the efforts to get a question on the ballot in the November municipal election that would, if it passes, impose a change to the city’s charter. The change would force the city’s Department of Buildings to investigate all high-rise collapses retroactive to Sept. 11, 2001. Exempted would be the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center.

In an article in Crain’s New York Business, de Blasio said: “From what I’ve heard, it’s absolutely ridiculous. And it’s inappropriate, after all the suffering that went on 9/11 and since. It seems to be this is a very insensitive and inappropriate action.”

The article is one of a number that have emerged as the mainstream media starts to actually cover the story. The effort, called the High-Rise Safety Initiative, is being organized by the NYC Coalition for Accountability Now (NYC CAN). The campaign needed 30,000 signatures to hit the initial target for getting the initiative considered by the city council, and another 15,000 by Sept. 5 to override any decision by council to reject the initiative.

10. Building Professionals caught off guard on WTC 7

Experience has proven that, when presented with indisputable evidence, the people who design and construct buildings for a living quickly grasp the cause of the third worst structural failure in history.

Of course we're speaking of the 6.5-second demise of the 47-story, steel-framed skyscraper in the World Trade Center known as WTC 7.

But what if, in fact, most building professionals have never even heard about the collapse of this high-rise on 9/11?

This incredible reality — that the majority of our nation's architects and engineers are oblivious to WTC 7—is one of the primary reasons that AE911Truth headed to the Windy City last month for the 2014 National Convention of the American Institute of Architects. It was the fifth time since 2008 that our non-profit organization has attended this annual event, which this year was held at Chicago's McCormick Place on South Lake Shore Drive, the largest convention center in North America. The nearly 800 exhibitors and more than 15,000 architects in attendance had an opportunity to hear AE911Truth sound a wake-up call about the impossible claims of the official story of collapse by fire of the three skyscrapers on 9/11/01.

13. NYC High-Rise Safety Initiative Petition Drive Meets its Target.

Dear friends,

Yesterday was a special day for all of us who have supported the High-Rise Safety Initiative in any way. After three months of pounding the NYC pavement, we finished our petition drive.

We started petitioning on May 1st after three months of working to build support and collect donations. Thanks to the generosity and faith of so many supporters, we were able to raise enough in those early months to get the petition drive started on time. Still needing more funds to make it to our eventual goal of 100,000 signatures, your generosity continued to pave the way until this past week when we reached our final fundraising goal and then finished the job we set out to do.

All told, we gathered over 100,000 signatures from NYC voters between May 1st and July 31st, 67,000 of which were submitted on July 3rd, and 33,000 of which will be submitted on September 4th. We could not have accomplished this feat without you and your incredible commitment to this vital cause. For that, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Now the voters have spoken and it is incumbent upon the City of New York to honor their request for a measure to be placed on the ballot requiring the City to investigate the collapse of WTC 7 and any future high-rise collapses. We will learn next week whether the City will try to stand in the way of the voters. If it does, we are prepared to do battle in court, and we are confident of defeating what would be a baseless challenge to the petition.

In the meantime, let us celebrate and feel grateful for what we have accomplished. Thank you.

The entire interior was collapsing for nearly 10 seconds before the exterior made major moves down. ae911truth are failed conspiracy theorists who can't figure out 911, a cash cow for Richard Gage who uses 500k/yr in donations to travel the world, buy new suits, buy the latest gadgets so he can give lectures on BS and ask for more money, and he asks for a new investigation because he has all this evidence he can't produce... where is his evidence?
