It really is a brilliant idea, and because of unparalleled social and institutional discrimination against trans women and men, particularly in the areas of housing and employment, safe places of all kinds are a huge asset to transfolk.
Especially for people that are broke due to the fact that many employers will not hire or will fire them because of who they are.
It brought tears to my eyes, actually. But I'm a big softie.
