OK, I feel better now.
(I tried to find things to please most people. I'll have you know I spend hours just looking at sites, trying to find pictures that would make you happy. You'd better appreciate my hard (no pun) work!)

(19,326 posts)some kind of advisory that gay soft-porn was involved.
I'm not particularly "offended" , it's just a waste of my
time an attention not being gay and all.

(399 posts)Enjoy these on your own...personally I get no enjoyment out of looking at semi-nude pictures of ripped guys. I could post an analogous picture of myself but I fear you would run screaming from the room in terror tearing your eyes out.

(3,310 posts)The "NSFW" should have been a tip-off.

(53,921 posts)Of course, given the poster has only posted twice in the LGBT forum, it makes wonder what about the subject line even attracted his attention, his not being gay and all. As for the second poster, it is his first post here in LGBT.

(16,862 posts)Was added after the first "I'm not gay and don't want to look at softcore porn" so well before the second post. As for the first, you say it's a waste of your time, but you needed to scroll through all the pictures just to be able to tell me you wasted your time? Um...k.
Behind the Aegis
(53,921 posts)I am also confused...how are those pictures "soft-core porn?" There isn't even nudity.
WillParkinson
(16,862 posts)But couldn't think of a nice way to say it. I'm grateful that you and HillWilliam helped me out on that part.
Behind the Aegis
(53,921 posts)Oh dear...is that too pornographic?! Shame upon me!

(16,862 posts)I think it's a perfectly gentlemanly thing to do! Very chivalrous.
I'm sure you could make his Knight.

(3,310 posts)coming into our SAFE-HAVEN group just to piss on threads.

(29,503 posts)I think the thread is totally fine, and further, the title is "I'm in a mood' - well, that's part of what this group is for - community support. If posting pictures here and chatting about them helps build the GLBT community and relationships, it is certainly a valuable topic.

(3,310 posts)What I read this morning was disruption pure and simple. Amongst ourselves, we seem to be handling things just fine. No need for strangers to come in and disrupt.
Look, these threads are usually pretty clearly marked. I treat them the same as I do any thread on DU: if I want to read it, I do. If I don't I don't. No need to piss on a thread. If I look at some thread and don't like what I see, I'm free to go anywhere else, so I do. Nothing to get all tore-up about. The same applies to anyone else.
I'd welcome the anyone else to post similar if they're so inclined. This is our safe-haven. My take is, so long as explicit bits aren't showing, it's art. If someone doesn't like LGBT art and interests, there are tons of other forums and groups. Go there.

(16,380 posts)Holy shit someone alert the media!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Sorry we forgot to add in the group purpose that posts should be specifically designed to "not waste 99th_Monkeys time." Cause of course it is, all about you.

(38,187 posts)it took some extra minutes to scroll all the way down, too! The outrage!

(55,144 posts)Got it?
Jamastiene
(38,187 posts)why are you in the LGBT Group to complain about what we post here?
Also, if it was such a waste of time, then why did you take EXTRA time to post a reply? You wasted your own time doing that. Don't blame us for that. You could have just hidden the thread and went back to the thousands of straight threads in other parts of DU.

(6,755 posts)The only problem I see is that there are too many clothes on those men.
WillParkinson
(16,862 posts)When I was looking at some of the pictures there were some I'd LOVE to use, but those would have gotten this thread locked easier than XChrom!
(Waits for the fallout from that comment...)

(16,862 posts)They aren't for sale.
At least till I'm done with them. Then I'll put them in the used bin and you can all have your pick of my discards.
