http://pamshouseblend.firedoglake.com/2012/01/08/gop-clown-car-runs-off-of-the-road-accelerating-on-its-gay-and-womb-control-obsession/These 2012 GOP Primary debates are filled with both humor and horror when it comes to LGBT issues. The fact that these straight white guys are up there talking about how to preserve marriage from LGBT Americans as well as basic civil rights is embarrassing. On Sundays Meet the Press (screen cap at right), there was less focus on TEH HOMOs, but Saturdays New Hampshire debate was seriously out of control.
I guess we can be grateful for the crystal clear transparency, compiled here by Igor Volsky of Think Progress.
NEWT GINGRICH: We want to make it possible to have those things that are most intimately human between friends.
RICK SANTORUM: Im certainly not going to have a federal law that bans adoption for gay couples, when there are only gay couples in certain states.
MITT ROMNEY: There is every right for people in this country to form long-term committed relationships with one another. That doesnt mean that they have to call it marriage.
RICK PERRY: That is a war against religion and its going to stop under a Perry administration.
Underscoring that is the utter bullsh*t that came out of Newt Gingrichs mouth regarding the fact that the candidates are actually being asked about their views about LGBTs and policy. Its BIGOTED to ask the questions! Holy mother of dog, is he serious? Yes.
Should the Catholic Church be forced to close its adoption services in Massachusetts because it wont accept gay couples, which is exactly what the state has done? Should the Catholic Church be driven out of providing charitable services in the District of Columbia because it wont give in to secular bigotry? Should the Catholic Church find itself discriminated against by the Obama administration on key delivery of services because the bias and bigotry of the administration?
He added: The bigotry question goes both ways and theres a lot more anti-Christian bigotry today than there is concern on the other side, and none of it gets covered by the news media.
Ive heard it all. Gee, we arent entitled to hear them articulate why we should be denied basic civil rights? Give Newt and the rest of them a fainting couch?

They closed the doors on their own in order to make excuses for their own bigotry. They sure didn't close the doors on boy-raping priests, though.
I've had it up ta heah with the Klan Klown Kar idiots. The victimize and then turn around and holler martyrdom when they're called on their nastiness.
I begin to wonder if everything started going off the rails when Raygun closed the mental health facilities and halfway houses. This was the inevitable result.
