I want to share a proud mother's story

My son is 15 and had a new friend over yesterday. a real sweet kid ... well after dropping him off , my son Proudly proclaimed
"you know he's gay mom" "oh you know I don't care about that" I responded .. to which he said " Yeah but mom now I can say I have a gay Friend" Beaming with a huge smile across his face ... I told my son that he should invite his friend who is new to the Bay Area from Arkansas, with us when we go places this summer.

My son has done many things to make me proud, this is just the latest.

yours in solidarity

Parents or whoever is in charge. Apparently your son learned the right lessons. Congratulations on a job well done!
